New Zealand ANZICS Regional Conference

As the nurse manager of the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Auckland City Hospital, and one of the members of the conference organising committee, I am well able to comment on the fantastic job done by Donna Clapham and her team at Workz4U, as our conference organiser for 2011.

We knew Donna was the conference company for us when she said there are three most important things to have a successful conference. An interesting program, good food and an efficient AV system.

Our committee and Donna worked together to develop a very clear timeline and all the way through we met those deadlines with a bit of nudging from Donna. Donna kept the minutes of all meetings, and gave us very clear outlines of what we all needed to do along with copies of all the minutes.

Donna and her team were responsive to our requests, the venue was fantastic, the food great and no problems with the AV system!

This was a very successful conference, and Donna and her team played a huge part in that success.

I would recommend Workz4U to anyone planning a conference anywhere in New Zealand.

I wish to formally thank you for your efforts in organising our New Zealand Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Annual Scientific Meeting in Paihia in March 2010.

The conference was a great success and much of this hinges on the careful planning and smooth running of the various academic programs and social events. You and your team at Workz4U did a very professional job in this regard and this was much appreciated.

There were no significant problems and given our venue limitations all the feedback that I have seen has been positive. There was a good balance of academic presentations, workshops, live operating sessions, RACS endorsed workshops, sporting activities and interesting dinner venues with excellent menus.

Thank you very much for everything that you put into the meeting to make it such a success. I hopefully look forward to seeing you as our conference organiser in the future.

The feedback from the delegates has been very complimentary and the minor hiccups you handled with diplomacy and without any fuss. I could not have asked for better service.

The conference manager was very motivated to make our conference a success. Tasks included regular contact with the organising committee, assisting them to complete tasks, managing the budget, consulting and sharing excellent industry knowledge with the team.

During these times they remained calm, focussed and were polite to staff whilst assisting them. NZ Association of General Surgeons Conference

March 2008, Bay of Islands

Workz4U Limited in association with the Medical Industry Association has been contracted to organise meetings for the New Zealand Association of General Surgeons and the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association on four occasions during the last three years.

In their role, the Workz4U team have performed exceptionally well from the initial planning in conjunction with the local surgeon(s) to the full implementation of the meeting. This has covered the important aspects such as venue selection, budget preparation, publicity, abstracts, overseas visitor travel, social events, audio-visual, trade exhibition, accommodation and of course registration. The timeliness and presentation of final accounts and a final report are also exemplary.

They have thus provided a highly competent service for all aspects of conference management. This has also included regular progress reporting, budget updating, local liaison with suppliers as well as exhibitors and attendees where there are always many individual queries to be considered.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Workz4U as Professional Conference Organisers and I look forward myself to working with them again in the future.
