- Wear a close fitting t-shirt or ¾ sleeve t-shirt or singlet top/tank top or boob tube – either full length to your waist or cropped just under your bust. This will be visible so make sure it matches your exotic material below.
- Wear a longish, a-line skirt or a petticoat – the colourful sari material will be wrapped around your skirt and tucked into your skirt/petticoat.
- Get at least 4m of exotic looking patterned material, and wrap once around your skirt, tucking into the top of it and flipping the remaining bit over your shoulder, pin in place.

- Wear a long white cotton top or a white shirt. Don’t tuck into your pants, it needs to hang out below your waist.
- Wear cotton pants, plain or pastel coloured pyjama pants will do!
- Wear a colourful turban, or a fez hat and sport a beard or moustache.
- Have a long scarf to hang over one shoulder or around your neck.
- Put a spot between your eyebrows or a bindi.
- Throw in a wooden bead necklace, a sitar, long pipe and some sandals and you’re done!
